I think it was with the track « Winter » that my piano journey began, back in 2013. I'm not a pianist, I mainly compose and produce psych pop for my solo project Saint Estrela and vocal electronic music with my band Jassclub, which is the reason why I simply named the album "a collection of songs played on the piano ».
But sometimes, when I don't feel the inspiration to compose more complex vocal music, I just sit at my piano and let my fingers play. Over the years, I've composed a lot of melodies but never recorded any. More recently, when I finished the track "La Confusion des Ombres" I thought to myself: why not make a solo piano album? So this is it. A collection of simple solo piano pieces which I believe are really suitable for background music or for relaxing in a cozy place, on a dark winter day.
